Gas Suspension Calciner
The Gas Suspension Calciner is a patented product of our company, which is a dynamic calcining equipment
initially developed for the calcination of powdery materials.
Brief introduction:
Calcination is a chemical engineering technique that involves modification, purification, decomposition,
oxidation, and reduction. Both static and dynamic motion are present during calcining; the larger the
specific surface area, the greater the rate of heat transfer and the shorter the calcination time. In gas
suspension calcining, powdery material is mixed with heated hot air; they flow in opposite directions,
resulting in a larger specific surface area and therefore instant calcination. The Gas Suspension Calciner is
an advanced device that ensures adequate heat transfer and decomposition, thereby enhancing product
quality.
Working principle:
The calciner comprises a gas heater, a gas-solid mixer, a furnace body, and a gas-solid separation
collector. The pre-calcined material is sent into the furnace by the gas-solid mixer, where it mixes with hot air
from the gas heater and swirls upward. The calcination process is completed instantaneously, and then the
mixture enters the gas-solid separation collector to separate the gas and solid components respectively.
