Sid dryer
Brief introduction:
Sid dryer is an updated version of the flash dryer. Which can get over some drawbacks of the general drying equipment, such as material sticking; enhance the utilization efficiency and the output-cost ratio of the equipment sufficiently.
Performance:
1. Flash drying: Dehydration for 1 to 5 seconds, resulting in an even granularity.
2. High collection rate: ≥ 90%.
3. Direct or indirect heating: Hot air ranging from 90 to 600 degrees Celsius.
4. Energy consumption: 1,100 to 1,200 kcal/kg H2O. Water evaporation capacity per set ranging from 90 to 3200 kgH2O/h.
5. Applicable for filter cake and paste materials with an initial moisture content of ≤ 85% and a final moisture content of ≤0.5%.
6. Requires small floor space and minimal labor involvement.
Process:
The flash drying system comprises a heater, a feeder, a desiccation chamber, and a cyclone collector. The
moist material is fed into a spiral feeder that conveys it to the drying chamber. Rotating blades are
positioned at the bottom of the drying chamber to disperse the material inside effectively. Simultaneously,
the heated hot air rapidly dries out the dispersed material, transforming it into granules. The swirling hot
air carries these granules through a cone-shaped sieve that rebounds some of the larger ones onto the
rotating blades, while the remaining smaller grains enter the collector. Finally, an induced draft fan expels the
exhaust.
