Double cyclone airflow dryer is a new type of drying equipment developed on the basis of airflow drying. Compared with the current air dryer, its production capacity, drying intensity and space utilization have been significantly improved. It provides a new type of high-efficiency low-consumption equipment for the drying of powdery, granular and loose materials.
Working principle:
Under the entrainment of the hot gas flow, the wet material enters the double cyclone airflow dryer from the tangential direction, and forms a two-way helical motion along the inner wall, and the material is evenly distributed in the airflow. Due to the two-way rotation, the gas boudary layer around the material granules is in a highly turbulent state, which increases the relative velocity and heat transfer area between the gas and the granules, accelarates the drying process.
Performance & features:
1. The double cyclone air drying equipment has a large processing capacity. The water evaporation capacity is 200kg/h ~ 1500kg/h, especially suitable for drying powdery and granular materials with moisture content less than 40%.
2. The unique design of the equipment makes it occupy only one half of the space occupied by an ordinary airflow dryer.
3. Continuous operation. Since the drying is completed in a short duration, the material is not overheated, and it is more suitable for active and heat-sensitive materials. Good sealing, no dust leakage.
4. The heat source can be steam, natural gas, electric heating, or coal-fired energy-efficient hot blast stoves.
Scope of application:
The double cyclone air drying device is suitable for drying powdery and granular materials in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, building materials, mining and other industries. For example: flour, monosodium glutamate, glucose, soda, feed, bone meal, salt, sugar, slag, mineral salt, plastic resin, synthetic drugs, fertilizers, dyes, cryolite, various additives, etc.
Drying process:
The double cyclone air drying system is mainly composed of a heat source, a feeder, a dryer and a collector. The wet feed enters the feeder then is conveyed into the drying chamber. Under the action of the hot gas heated by the heater, it is quickly dried into powder and then enters the collector. The exhaust is discharged by an external induced draft fan.
