Product Description

Brief introduction:

     The rotary dryer is a type of rotary kiln that employs indirect heating.


How does it work?


     Steam heating is one of the methods used for indirect heating. An internal steam heating pipe is positioned

across the rotary drum, which is concentric with the stationary drum. Many fins are welded onto the internal

wall of the rotary drum and the external wall of the rotating pipe, ensuring that the material is continuously

lifted, stirred, and heated by the pipe. Due to the inclination of the drum, the desiccated material moves from the

high end to the discharge gate at its low end.The moisture content that vaporizes gets expelled through an induced

draft fan or natural ventilation. Refering to organic solvents, an airtight steam heating rotary dryer can be employed

to recover these solvents. The presence of an internal circulating inactive gas or noble gas prevents any

potential explosions in the drying process.


Performance:


1. With a large heat transfer area, the thermal efficiency can reach 80 to 90 percent.


2. Suitable for continuous operation.


3. The dehydration process operates at low temperatures, making it user-friendly.


4. Minimal gas requirement; gas only serves as a carrier for volatile components, and a simple dust collector is sufficient.


5. The airtight dryer is highly suitable for recovering organic solvents.

     Rotary dryers are suitable for handling materials that require continuous drying, such as gypsum, HDPE,

TA/PTA, POM, melamine, chloroethylene, ABS resin, pentaerythritol and other organic compounds. They

are also used for copper, iron and nickel concentrates as well as sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate and

various types of feed and sludge.
